Nice job. As far is his writing. We all know he is going to throw us. We expect it all the time. "This is not going to end well". It is known. But we forget every time. I realized this on my 2nd reread. By then I knew the story front and back. I loved every damn second of it. Even knowing I got excited and sad and shocked. That is George's talent. I feel like I could read the books a hundred times and still fall in love every time

Wow if you guys truly are committed to a full blown reread, this should keep us all occupied through till the very end of the franchise 👍🏽👍🏽good stuff, loved the bit about Waymar’s last stand and the subtle details you pointed out (the sword, the faceless man)
