No one truly wins a civil war...great quote from Steven Attewell,guys! Another example on that matter would be Ser Eustace Osgrey...poor soul. I sincerely hope that the bloody Throne is going to be destroyed in ADOS..that‘d surely improve the situation there..wouldn‘t it?

Thank you for doing this podcast! Dany is not a character I enjoy often (I go back and forth on liking her, tbh), but you just can't love ASoIaF and not be invested into her storyline. Great job!

Excellent though on our Queens introduction. Right away Martian shows us that she sees much further and see more than both her brother and everyone else around her.

Listened to this on the way home to Vegas from Phoenix. Favorite part: your “critique” of the chapter, as I had the same problem during my re read of this chapter. Given all we know of the Illyrio/ Varys/ Faegon Blackfyre plot, why keep these two alive at all? I found myself wondering. Back up Targaryens? That answer felt weak somehow.... so I loved your guys’ idea about the meta changing and the snide comments about the “fat guy’s ever changing plans” being George making fun of himself. It not only makes sense, but reminded me of Hitchcock’s cameos (another corpulent genius ftw). Anyway, you guys bring so much insight to this series and I’m so happy we’re all in this “patiently not patiently waiting for TWOW” together

I love The interaction between both of you. Your individual analysis is great, but the bromance is the chemistry that keeps me coming back for more.
